We are Tennessee State University’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program-Education, SNAP-Ed.

We help families stretch their food dollar!

In the TSU SNAP-Ed program, our educators teach fun, hands-on classes that include:

• No skills needed

• Basic cooking

• Simple Ways to Stretch Your Food Dollar

• Food tastings

• Kitchen tool(s)

• Certificates

How Can We Work for You?

By providing nutrition education to each particular organization hosting a nutritional education session or event.  The sessions are usually hour to an hour and a half covering: Healthy Food Choices, Healthy Cooking, Food Resource Management, and Food Safety. We can help you gain a Healthy Lifestyle!
